According to a report on atlasshrugs.com it has been alleged that there just might be a connection. Atllashrugs.com writes,

His mother’s funeral was held there in May that year……………..Hasan’s eyes “lit up” when he mentioned his deep respect for al-Awlaki’s teachings, according to a fellow Muslims …………………..Charles Allen, a former under-secretary for intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security, has described al-Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen, as an “al-Qaeda supporter, and former spiritual leader to three of the September 11 hijackers.

Time will tell if the Ft. Hood shooter is a terrorist or mentally ill or perhaps a little bit of both. I feel so much sadness for the 13 people  who were murdered by Hasan. This was the worst terror attack in America since 911 in my opinion. Yes, I think he has mental illness but I truly believe there was an element of TERRORISM mixed-in. What say you?  Major Hasan shouted the words, “Allah Akbar” prior to his vile actions. Weapons were acquired,allegedly he closed down his apartment and gave his belongings and passing out holy books ( according to his neighbors).

The MSM is saying he has post-traumatic stress, I ask you how can this be the man never went to war? Serious Allegations (that appear to be true in my opinion):  Hasan did not want to go to war, argued with Vets in Walter Reed against the war, tried to convert soldiers to Islam and posted blogs supporting suicide bombings.

Glenn Beck’s show yesterday covered SEIU’s Andy Stern. Stern is seen and heard on audio-visual tape saying the following:

What we’re working towards is building a global organization because workers of the world unite. It’s not just a slogan anymore, it’s just the way we  have to do our work…………There are opportunities in America to share better the wealth, to rebalance the power and unions and government are a part of the solution. We ‘re trying to use the power of persuasion  and if that does not work we are going to use the persuasion of power. Because there are governments and there are opportunities to change laws that  affect these companies. I’m not naïve. We’re ready to strike.

To the best of my knowledge, Fox news has been a member of  the White House press pool since 1977 and today allegedly the White House attempted to shut-out the news station   from an interview session with Kenneth Feinberg (pay czar).  Other members of the White House press pool stepped up and said if  Fox  is not included they would not participate.If this story is true it is a sad day in America. The WH can not and should not control the media because in my opinion it is un-American. Now again  – I clearly want to state I do not dislike our President and I agree with his point of view on many issues. For example I am nurse who wants Health Care Reform but I want a program that is not restrictive and one that does include a public option. I like social programs, however, I do not like propaganda (i.e. NEA), internet/media control, delay in bringing our troops home and/or sending more over. I do not like anti-American political leaders being  held in high regard. America equals Freedom to me and any change in Freedom is WRONG. In addition, I don’t want America to become a “banana republic.” I could go on and on but I will stop here.

Tom Blumer wrote an interesting and I believe to-the-point blog a few days ago titled, Anita Dunn and Mao: Establishment Press Predictably Mostly Muzzled. This appears to be true. Why, you might or should ask and the answer is as you have guessed I am sure Control of the Media. I find this to be ever so sad. Seems that Fox is the only station that has not been manipulated by the White House. In my opinion that is why there has been an active smear campaign directed at Fox coming out of the White House because they very well know Fox has two types of programing- straight news and ANOTHER TYPE that centers around opinions. Other cables stations do the same, however, all the others seem to be pro-Obama so I guess that is OK!

Today one of the topics covered by Beck was NET NEUTRALITY. This is a Marxist hot topic.  What is it that the FCC Czar once said (atlasshrugs.com) “White People Need to be Forced to Step Down So Someone Else Can Have Power” Yeah, that’s right Mark Lloyd the cat that digs Hugo Chavez.  A vote is set for tomorrow in Washington. The issue is presented in a good light but the outcome is a negative one because Control of Content is truly at the heart of this issue in my opinion. According to what I am reading and hearing on TV, I believe our freedom of speech is being threatened. I really hope I am wrong.

You know what is going on in this country right now is like a bloody nightmare. It is really difficult for me believe half of the trash. When you look at reality, express reality it sounds crazy but the sad part is – it is very real.
