Best of Luck Mr. Miftah

There is an interesting story on Michelle Malkin’s site by blogger see-dubya about a Muslim man in Tulsa, Jamal Miftah, who shared his belief that Islam should condemn Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri. Seems the members of his mosque did not agree with him and Mr. Miftah was banned from his mosque. Mr. Miftah was branded a traitor to Islam and he was assaulted. See-dubya writes, “Miftah is one of a tiny minority of actual moderate muslims who have the courage to stand up against radical Islam.” Mr Miftah’s op-ed piece is titled,  MESSAGE OF ISLAM IS NOT JIHAD, FATWAHS.  Mr. Miftah decided to sue parties involved and on July 25, 2008 the case was given the go-ahead to move forward. Parties involved, the Islamic Society of Tulsa, Mujib Cheema, and the North American Islamic Trust wanted the case dismissed but NO, NO, NO it is going forward. James Bates’ site has a detailed story of events.
