Yes, Senator Obama proposes a new  global war on poverty. Of course we will pay for it because it will be financed by American taxpayers. This bill commits Americans to the United Nations Millennium Summit goal to decrease world poverty by 2015. U.S. Foreign aid would be increased to $65 billion a year. Again, if we lived in an ideal world this would be wonderful. Right now Americans are finding it difficult to meet their own bills. AMERICAN People need to be able to heat their homes, put food on their table and get to work. Just my opinion.

Bush just signed off on a $48 Billion package. Interesting, how we can give away all this money and people in this country do not have health insurance and are finding daily living difficult. I don’t get it! We need to help but at the expensive of our own countrymen.
