Just ten days before the Electoral college will meet, the Obama Birth Certificte case is set for conference (12/5/08). Again, I have no clue about this whole birth certificate issue. World Daily Net has a detailed story about this issue, as well as, Texasdarlin.wordpress.com and CitizenWells.wordpress.com. According to WDN, “The Supreme Court’s website listed the date for the case brought by Leo C. Donofrio against Nina Wells, the secretary of state in New Jersey, over not only Obama’s name on the 2008 election ballot but those of two others, Sen. John McCain and Roger Calero.” Interesting, no? The questions - are any of the three candidates qualified to run for the office of President under the U.S. Constitution’s requirement that a president be a “natural-born citizen.” It is my opinion that the questions should be examined once anf for all so people can move on. If four out of nine judges vote to hear the case an oral argument may be scheduled. Time will tell.
LATE NOTE: 12/1/08 – CASE WILL BE DELAYED 7 DAYS.
Note: 12/4/08 – I read an article in WND today and it stated the following, “An associate lawyer in a Chicago-based firm whose partner served on a finance committee for then-Sen. Barack Obama has advocated for the elimination of the U.S. Constitution’s requirement that a president be a natural-born citizen, calling the requirement stupid and asserting it discriminates, is outdated and undemocratic.” OK kids tell me what is wrong with this picture? UPDATE: A spokesman for the court said the decision on whether to hear the suit by Donofrio most likely will be announced next week.
UPDATE: AGAIN THE WHOLE QUESTION RE: BC WAS ABOVE MY HEAD I JUST COMMENTED ON REPORTS ON SAW ONLINE. NO CLUE. I WANT IT TO BE KNOWN I SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENT 100% AND WISH HIM AND OUR COUNTRY WELL.

Man, talk about the public being bent over a table!!! NO one has standing for these suits. So, with the USGovernment filing in the Supreme Court AND naming all respondents, is Bush Administration running interference for Obama and the DNC? THIS IS JUST TOO FREAKING WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So… Obama didn’t say anything about that. The guy that he served with on a board didn’t say anything either. It was essentially an employee of the guy who wrote a paper a couple of years ago about the topic of whether or not a non-natural born citizen should be able to run for president.
I’m sure there are decent arguments on both sides and I’m for the status quo, but … why make the connection to Obama if the connection isn’t there? I’m sure there is going to be plenty room for criticism of him. Why make stuff up?

I don’t think World Net Daily made the story up and it is a story that does not go away if you notice the Birth Certificate Issue is hanging around. As I said many times I have no clue what is going on. It is difficult for me to understand to be honest. Obama’s mother was a natural born citizen and I am not so sure why it would matter where he was born – this being the case. Again, I have no reason to believe WND is making up their story.
