Janeane Garofalo: She is so far left she is lost in space if you ask me! !

I really had to laugh as I watched Ms. Garofalo speak,

“Let’s be very honest about what this is about. This is not about bashing Democrats. It’s not about taxes. They have no idea what the Boston Tea party was about. They don’t know their history at all. It’s about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up and is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks. There is no way around that.”

In my opinion I think Ms. Garofalo needs therapy because she is not in touch with reality. Apparently she (thinks) she knows what others are thinking and she (thinks) she is able to assess our knowledge of history. Ms. Garofalo also (thinks) she can size-it all up by calling the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT  racist as  she  sits there and calls us REDNECKS.  Oh year, TEABAGGING REDNECKS. There is no way around the fact Ms. Garofalo needs to mind her words because in my opinion she is out-of-touch with REALITY. I really got a good laugh while watching her  interview.

It has been estimated that 1 million people participated in a peaceful protest. Yes, MSM downplayed the event. Left-wingers like Garofalo had their little say. They try to twist and turn the true meaning of the protest. They are afraid so they resort to name calling. AMERICA IS AWAKE AND WE ARE GOING TO KEEP ON GOING. More protests are already in the works.

UPDATE: MM HAS A BLOG ON THE TOPIC. Here is another update which is a must read.

  1. I”m just curious, who isn’t really far left to you? What person in your position wouldn’t say something like this. Truth is, the tea parties didn’t even make sense. They shouldn’t have been called Tea parties… and they weren’t even really grassroots.

Do you honestly think it’s worth your while having fox sponser partisan politics? They say it’s non-partisan to trick you.. but you’re really just cheering on the last 8 years of almost authoritarian-like control the government had.

Maybe you don’t realize it now.. heck maybe your apocalyptic Obama-scenario’s will take place… but in 20 years if you are wrong about all this, you’re going to look back with regrets. Obama may not be on your side but he’s trying his best for the US.

You should read the book called The Authoritarians. It’s about how certain groups of people tend to side with the people who have authority over them, no matter what those people say. They will follow their bosses to the death even if their boss is wrong, they will make up excuse after excuse for their boss. This is like how you are following the right wing now, even though they are so clearly obstructing the evolution of America. You’ll never follow a democrat unless they become a REpublican, so what’s the point of these posts? You’re like any other Republican blogger that’s unwilling to even consider there is another viewpoint.

The democrats put up with hating Bush for 8 years, you guys won’t even do it 100 days without saying socialism, facism, tyranny, Obama isn’t really American. All this bullshit. You’re the unAmerican one and though Janeane might be wrong about a few, there were some really hateful things said at those rally’s.

I think your life is headed down a sad road if you stick with this party… but there’s no changing your mind… you follow the authoritarians of your party and they can do no wrong.

  2. The Tea Party Movement makes perfect sense to me and a million (plus) other Americans and we are growing. Fox did not sponsor the parties and the parties started in February. It is a grassroots movement and yes as it got popular Fox and others came aboard.

I had to laugh at you telling me to read the Authoritarians. How funny it is that you are speaking about people FOLLOWING SOMEONE BLINDLY. For your info I am not a REPUBLICAN AND I AM NOT CONSERVATIVE. What do you say to that? BTW I am not anti-Obama (I did not vote for him but I am not against him). Are you listening, JON?

Our country is on the wrong track and it has been going this way for a long time now. I think it is great people get out and speak there mind. That includes your voice Jon.

My life is headed down a wonderful road. I have a GREAT life. And I think there is room in this world for all kinds of people with all kinds of thinking. I think the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT IS GREAT. I SUPPORT IT. The tea party is made up of people from all different parties coming together. I think you fail to get this point. I think this has the Left a bit nervous if you ask me and as for Ms. Garofalo she needs a REALITY CHECK and she came against very immature calling us “teabagging rednecks.”

Thank you for reading my blog and your comment.

  3. I watched clips of this woman and am astounded that she actually believes what she’s saying. Talk about hate-filled and lunatical. And, I was amazed that Keith Oberman agreed with what she said. She appears to have lost touch with reality (and by agreeing with her, so does he). No matter which side of the political scale you’re on – she can’t sound knowledgeable to anyone???? I saw one post that called her a skank. Since she seems to understand that form of communication (name calling), I would have to agree.

  4. Well, it’s good you aren’t anti-Obama.

There’s nothing to be scared about.. well i guess there is. Want to know why liberals are scared. Your movement means absolutely nothing. The “higher taxes” you’re protesting is really just 3% more taxes on the rich.

What I think we are “scared” of is the fact you’re standing up side by side with the people who caused this crisis. Fox News and the Republicans trumpeted deregulation but then you go stand with them against the mess they created… and surprise, fox wants to blame obama and the democrats now.

It’s just creepy that you don’t see that. It’s like you’ve been brainwashed against common sense.. and I don’t even mean that as insulting..

I don’t follow Obama blindly, he does things I like, he does things I don’t like.. I just don’t scream facism everytime he does something I disagree with. Bush actually did tons of damage to our country and it’s like you all have a delayed reaction to that… HELLO take responsiblity for Bush, he did all this…. now the country is on a bad path? What? It’s been like 80 days or something? How does a president doom the country so quickly? Doesn’t make sense. Sorry.

Oh and I also don’t mind he’s black… from what I saw and heard at those tea bagging get-togethers, there was all this stuff about him being an immigrant or african or muslim… that’s what crazy people do. They ignore what Obama says and they call him a name, or they talk about some bullshit, like, Obama went to a madrassa. What other reason is there to say that than to be racist.

I’m not saying you do all these things or think these ways… but the people you associate with seem to.

  5. Dear Sandra,

Thank you for reading my blog and for your comment. I think she shed a negative light upon herself by name calling but I guess she is just a human being after all. LOL.

  6. Hi Jon,

Yes, I am not anti-Obama. I did not vote for him and may not agree with everything thing he does but I am not anti-Obama. As far as Fox goes – I don’t think they are in the blame game. They have said all of this started during the Clinton and Bush years. I too don’t care about the color of a person’s skin. Obama could be purple for all I care. I care about our Country. I am not a fan of Transnationalism (i.e. Koh). As for the Tea Party Movement let’s see where it goes, eh?

    Regards,
    DianeJ
